Thursday 4th May 2005 saw history in the making as Saint FM became the first St Helenian FM station to provide an international service via streaming audio. Making the station now accessible to saints literally all around the world. All programmes from Saint FM broadcast in St Helena are simultaneously transmitted over the internet allowing anybody with a computer and an internet connection to hear internet radio from the South Atlantic. By just clicking the 'Listen Live' link saints everywhere can connect with family and friends back home.
To date the site has received an amazing 175,000 connections since 2005. >>

With the introduction of the streaming audio on our website, Saint FM stretched far beyond the towering cliff of St Helena and was welcomed by Saints and those with a interest in the Island world wide. And it didn't stop there, soon afterwards, Saint FM was being broadcast via radio with the help of VT Communications on our sister Island, Ascension. In May 2006 VT Communication successful set up a repeater station and now downloads our live stream from this website and re-broadcasts the signal to listeners on Ascension Island. >>
The Falkland Islands was next to rebroadcast Saint FM. With many Saints living and working on the Falklands it was no far stretch of imagination that Saint FM would be welcomed by those so far from home. In September 2006, with the help of KTV Ltd, Saint FM began broadcasting live to saints working on the Falkland Islands.
Third to join the Saint FM family, Tristan Da Cunha began broadcast of Saint FM in May 2008. After months of planning, shipment of the necessary equipment and a few teething problems at the start, islanders on Tristan Da Cunha now enjoy 24/7 broadcast of Saint FM
